Descent - The beginning

The idea of Descent was created about a year ago when Tyler started creating rough ideas on UE4. Since then there has been a lot of work done and a handful of people have joined up from all over the world.
We have been inspired by all of the major horror games of the last 20 years or so and are trying to combine all of their strengths into one coherent experience.
We are trying to aim at getting the puzzle/mystery like nature of Resident Evil, the emotion and drama of Silent Hill and the visceral, adrenaline inducing fear that Outlast became famous for all in one heart pounding experience.
We are still in early alpha development, but we are making giant steps to realising our goals and it shouldn't be to long before we are releasing a teaser demo and launching our campaign on Kickstarter.
It's vital for us at this stage to get your feedback on the direction that we're taking so we will hopefully be updating this website on a weekly if not daily basis
